The Greenwich Hotel, the passion project of Robert DeNiro, executed in tandem with renowned hotelier Ira Drukier, was designed, projected, and constructed with the highest degree of aesthetic standards in mind. In-room stone fireplaces, handmade clay bricks, and reclaimed materials from all over NYC, and the world, adorn the structure in a manner that only an artist could truly appreciate.
The ensuite bathrooms include herringbone mosaic floors, hand-laid Moroccan tiles, and white Carrara marble vanities, as well as freestanding bath tubs and walk-in showers. Handcrafted details embrace the sprawling penthouse suites, which include countertops, natural stone floors, and chef’s kitchens.
The underground pool, situated within the hotel’s spa, is crafted with wooden beams from a reconstructed 250-year-old Japanese farmhouse, adding to the space’s serene and timeless atmosphere. Other details include antique mirrors and terra-cotta floors, all which contribute to the hotel’s distinct anachronistic and rustic design.
The building has been the subject of countless features in numerous publications, including notably Condé Nast, Elle, The Michelin Guide, Vogue, and others.
