88–90 Lexington Ave is a dual-building condominium complex located in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood. The scope of work consisted of a complete interior-fit out of a 19-story pre-war building from 1927, and a smaller 13-story tower from 1958. Yale Stone executed this undertaking in collaboration with the award-winning architecture and design firm, Workshop/APD.
The building features a comprehensive suite of amenities, including access to a sunlit-atrium swimming pool room, the focal point of which resides in the sleek and modern mosaic work, framed by slate grey floor tiles. Highlights of the kitchens include massive white marble islands fitted with stainless steel sinks, custom-fabricated to include plentiful overhang, ideal for both cooking and dining; in addition to antique gray marble countertops and backsplashes, accentuated by stainless steel ranges and hoods.
Bathrooms showcase naturally-marbled French limestone, heated floors, and high-end fixtures. Primary bathrooms additionally include full travertine stone slab walls and accents, as well as custom vanity cabinets. Showers contain three custom-cut marble shelves, underscoring Yale Stone’s craftsmanship. The stonework blends natural beauty, modern innovation, and artisanal design.
